Zinc oxide is an inorganic compound with the formula ZnO. ZnO is a white powder that is insoluble in water. It is used as an additive in numerous materials and products including cosmetics, food supplements, rubbers, plastics, ceramics, glass, cement, lubricants, paints, ointments, adhesives, sealants, pigments, foods, batteries, ferrites, fire retardants, and first-aid tapes. Although it occurs naturally as the mineral zincite, most zinc oxide is produced synthetically.
Using Special High Grade Zinc & Aluminum with different ratio according to customer requirements. These alloys are in ingots shape of 6.5 Kg. : 7 Kg.
The name ZAMAC originates from the first letters of Z zinc , A Aluminum, MA Magnesium and C Copper.
ZINC EGYPT manufactures the complete range of ZAMAC alloys used for diecasting process. i.e. ZAMAC 2, 3, 5, 7, ZA8, ZA12, ZA27 and Kayem Alloys.
Electrolytic Zinc is used. Electroplating anodes are avaialble in diffrent shapes to suit our customer needs.
We manufacture a wide variety of sacrificial anodes for shipyards and marinas protection also for oil platform and tanks, with various designs based on specific customer requirements.
